Christmas from the Heart Tour
In winter 2009, David Archuleta embarked on a tour to promote his Christmas album Christmas from the Heart, hence the tour name, the Christmas From The Heart Tour. The tour started on November 24, 2009 and went through December 20, 2009. Friend to Archuleta and French singer Benton Paul opened for the tour. For the Boston show, the first opening act was a group called Michael and Marissa from Topsfield, MA.
The month and a half-long tour consisted of mostly small venues such as theatres and performing art centers. All shows took place in the US.
Set list
Archuleta separated his set into two halves. The first half consisted of pop songs, the other being Christmas songs. For the first half he performed in casual dress. At the intermission he changed into a suit and tie as a light show played for the audience. For the first few shows, he performed "What Child Is This". Afterwards, he added it into the setlist whenever a live orchestra was present that certain night. His last song was "Silent Night". The show concluded with an encore. Later on he added "Feliz Navidad" to the set list, making that his last song before the encore.
